Construit en 1862, en bordure de l'ancienne voie ferrée.

en contrebas d'un chemin à gauche de la rue des Carriers, quand on va vers Montréal. Ce lavoir offre une très belle vue sur le château de Thizy, qu’il a en face de lui.
