A lavoir in Vouécourt in Haute-Marne 52, France. It can be found on rue de la Biche. This was the original lavoir in the village. It was replaced by a lavoir on rue de Verdun in 1862 because this lavoir was being contaminated by iron ore in the water. The basin has been paved over and is used as a play area for children.


Un lavoir à Vouécourt en Haute-Marne 52, France. On le trouve rue de la Biche. C’était le lavoir original dans le village. Il fut remplacé par un lavoir de la rue de Verdun en 1862 parce que ce lavoir était contaminé par du minerai de fer dans l’eau. Le bassin a été pavé et est utilisé comme aire de jeux pour les enfants.
