Au Sud du hameau de La Chapelle les lavandières venaient avec leur planche. Le captage de la source se situe au fond d'un petit tunnel, dont on voit l'entrée, d'une cinquantaine de mètres. Nous sommes dans l'aire GEOPARC Beaujolais UNESCO tout près du musée géologique et botanique "Espace Pierres Folles"
